Artist Statement:
In a world that moves so quickly, photography allows me to pause.
I want my work to remind people that we come from the earth, rely on it, and will one day return to it. The goal is not to escape this, but to appreciate all that is around us while we are here.
I want my work to feel like an exhale. A moment of brief respite, where together we can acknowledge the beauty and complexity of our experience, and feel — if only for a moment — part of something greater.
